Let’s go Bonefishing!

Ever wanted to go bonefishing?  Looking for a fun getaway? Just want to go to a super nice fishing lodge and hang out with Justin? This is all that and more! Here are the details…

Hi Guys,

I am excited to announce that I am hosting a trip to the Bahamas in October with long time friend and guide, Chris Jensen. He and I have been talking about putting together a hosted trip for years and we are finally doing it! This will be my first hosted trip and Chris has hosted many all around the world.

Where: Abaco Lodge, Abaco Island Bahamas (website) (trip advisor)
When: October 22nd – 27th 5 Nights, 4 Days fishing
How much: $ 4,250.00 p/person includes guides, fishing, lodging, and meals. Does not include flights and gratuities.

Abaco lodge can fish 10 guests per week and we currently have room for 6 anglers. I have fished with their guides and have been to the Lodge. It is everything you would expect at TLAPC, just saltier. Great food, great rooms, on the water location, superb guides and state of the art flats boats This is a great trip for the first time saltwater fly fisher or the experienced angler. Bonefish are plentiful and you can also expect shots at Barracuda, Sharks, and even Baby Tarpon.

If you have been on one of Chris’s hosted trips before you know that he’ll bring a fly tying kit in case we need more of the “magical” fly of the moment down there and will also offer casting lessons off the dock anytime!

Chris and I will keep you guys up to date with pre-trip gear lists, recommended flies and the like. We’ll make sure you show up ready to roll. If anyone locally books we’ll get together for pre trip casting practice and fly tying as well.

If you don’t own your own saltwater fly fishing gear but want to go, let us know, we plan to work closely with Orvis to get demo rods and reels to take to the lodge.

We expect this trip to fill up fast so let us know ASAP if you are interested.  You can email Chris at [email protected] or Justin at [email protected]

Cheers,
Justin
