Guided Fly Fishing on the Main Snake River
The South Fork and Henry’s Fork’s of the Snake Rivers live up to their storied reputations well, but with some truly massive trout and our talented guides we’ve got another fishery we want to introduce you to.
Several of our guides live in the Pocatello area during the “off-season” specifically so they can guide and fish the main stem of the Snake. Prime time for this fishery is November – March. Trophy trout are common and while it’s not sunscreen and flip flop weather the temperatures are generally 20 degrees warmer than our home waters on the South Fork. The effort put in is worth it!
We offer both walk and wade or float fishing opportunities on the main Snake. For those willing to dress warm and put in some work, you will have a chance at catching fish of epic proportions. The best part, there’s no reason to travel to Argentina or New Zealand, this fishery is just a short drive from Idaho Falls or Salt Lake and the lucky folks in Pocatello have this right in their backyard.
