Other than the flow out of Palisades Reservoir the fishing report is very similar to last week. Flows were moved from 12,200 cfs to just under 14,000 cfs last Thursday afternoon and have remained there all week. The weather forecast is looking fantastic for the weekend with temperatures several degrees warmer than last week pushing into the mid 60’s.
Fishing and fly choices should be very similar to last week’s report with big nymphs being the top choice and streamers worked deep in slow water.
If you chose to recreate on the river, please remember to practice social distancing at boat ramps, parking lots, gas stations, etc. and respect the small community here in Swan Valley. See you on the river!
