Not too many changes from last week’s report. The water has dropped a bit to 9,600 cfs, right on average for the date.
This time of year is where the South Fork really shines and you’re only limited by your imagination on where to float and what to fish with. Want to throw streamers? That’ll work, especially with the cloudy weather in the forecast. Like hopper/dropper fishing, so do our guides. Do you prefer technical dry fly fishing? Hang out in a riffle in the middle of the day and head hunt that picky PMD-eater. Have time to fish after work? The caddis hatch is really bringing the fish out before dark. Only have time in the morning? Mutant Golden Stones are out. You get the idea!
