Our beloved South Fork was slow to come around this year but fishing lately is starting to make up for it. Fishing remains very good with PMD’s, caddis, terrestrials, mutant golden stones, as well as a variety of nymphs. A few cloudy days this week provided even better hatches and fish activity. We’ve also been venturing out to the Main-Snake River for the chance at a real trophy.
The water is as clear as it gets and we’re looking forward to some of the best late summer fly fishing we’ve had in years. Get out there if you can! As always, if you’re looking for a guide, gear, or advice swing into our shop or give us a call 208.483.2222
