South Fork of the Snake River Fishing Report September 22nd, 2016

Henry Winkler South Fork Brown
Does this guy look familiar?

Fall is officially here today both via the calendar and the weather.  Cool and wet is the forecast for the next several days…but guess what….the fish are already wet so get out there!  Blue Winged Olives and Mahogany duns will “Go Off” with weather like this.  In between hatches streamer fishing is the way to go.  If all else fails we’ve had good success fishing a small stonefly nymph with a BWO nymph behind it.  Just before the BWO hatch you may be catching most of your fish on the BWO nymph in which case put two different ones on!  This will be a great few days to be on the river!

If you have questions, need flies, shuttles, guides we’re just a phone call away.  208-483-2222
